    Ibrahim Mursal : When ideas worth spreading become ideas worth protecting

    IbrahimMursal is a Norwegian/ Somali/ Sudanese filmmaker and promotional Campaigns designer. Graduated as an Oil Engineer, but he followed his passion in Filmmaking.

    Ibrahim Mursal Participated in the making of more than 10  Short films as Director, Assistant Director, Cinematographer, Assistant editor and Consultant . His Short fictional Film (fifty) was an official selection In Sudan Independent Film Festival 2014. He also a youth counselor who works with refugees and asylum seekers. Ibrahim is one of the people behind TEDxKhartoum.

    On 11 May 2013, Sudanese security forces shut down the annual TEDxKhartoum event while it was underway, without a warning or explanation. In this TEDxTalk, Ibrahim Mursal, Organizing committee member for the event, retells the events of that day, the effects of what happened, and asks a question worth spreading!.
